Either one is better than POR & no more expensive. POR is a great product if you have a nice old truck rusting in the field & need to stop mother natures forces temporarily. However if you have gone to the work of taking the vehicle apart & having it sandblasted...why not use Epoxy...it's less than $20 a quart? I can understand that powder coating larger items like a frame might be cost prohibitive, but in most cases, small parts are less expensive than the POR 15 costs never mind your time. (If you've ever had Powder Coating fail, chose a different Powder Coater...they've done something wrong).
We run a shipyard here & have been painting ships with Epoxy for the past 20 years. They go into the salt water for up to 6 years without any corrosion or adhesion issues.
We have many paint sales reps come in the door every day, but I must say, nobody from POR 15 has ever been around to sell us their product. If it was capable of the job, they would be banging on the door...trust me.
Just my opinion
