I have been paying attention to your questions out of the corner of my eye, and I realy never thought about what you were working on until now.
I have been playing catch up on my E-mail backlog and my thoughts came back to your question.
This is the picture in the parts book of the rear springs, note the 2 small springs at the bottom of the spring pack. I checked all my parts books for this(57-58 loose leaf, 57-68 bound, 57 4wd only, and 57 only parts book), and they all use the same diagram, though there are some different labels, all the parts are the same.
I have looked at several trucks, and they are all setup the same.
If you are not talking about the area where the two springs are, then please let me know, and maybe I can help you out.
