1st thing you should do is subscribe to the Power Wagon Advertiser. The name is a misnomer as the real value in Gordons rag is the articles, pictures, and technical reference. That usally makes up most of the pages. And while you are at it get the 2 most recent back issues as Gordon has been going through a general rebuild of the engine.
Also from Gordon is "Dodge Service". It covers Brakes (very important), axles, transfer case, and differentials. Gordon has a history as a automotive instructor and has done a fine job of writing this service manual for the fledgling PW owner.
From Greg Coffin get his "Power train surival manual" 27 pages of part numbers and illustration. These are NAPA, Carquest, and National part #'s not obsolete chrysler part #'s so you will be able to use them easily.
His address is:
1156 E. 4th Street
Loveland, CO 80537
Last I checked it was $20.

Get on Vintage Power Wagons Mailing list. Might as well get a credit card on file with them now. Dave and Steve are great and have done an invalueable service to the hobby.

Lastly, go to the bookstore and get "Marriage for Dummies".
It is a it's a big yellow book in the self help section. At some point you will stress test your marriage. These trucks are like potato chips, "bet you cant have just one!". You will be driving along with your sweetie and spot a farm dump and see that familiar front fender curve. It will have a belt pully or winch or perfect rear fenders etc... and borrow money out of the kids college fund to buy it. Or worse yet just drag it home before she even has a chance to give you THE LOOK. Hey laugh all you want, but it has worked for me!!! I'm a Dummy, and I'm still married. I dont think I can count on both hands the # of trucks that have graced my garage. Heck we even drove away from our wedding in a greasy old barely running 3/4 ton WW2 Dodge!
If you have any questions about anything on your truck, post them here and you will have a answer the same day, maby within a few minutes!
Best of luck, stay focused, take pictures and share them!
