My best guess is 3 to 4 weeks before we can tap up here. To cold yet. We need consitant
thawing days and freezing nights. We are no where near that cycle yet. Dont know about the sun deal. Syrup sweetness (brix) is determined by State law and the Sugarmaker.
Boil longer and sugar content goes up. Typically raw sap will be between 1 to 4 Brix.
Also I need some more time on the Carryall before Sugar Season. Everything stops then.
