What I got:

This truck has two generators, one is dedicated to powering a 110 ac power invertor (which I really don’t need) and the other one is a combination generator/power steering pump. The same shaft runs through both the generator and power steering module. Lately the power steering module is leaking and knocks loud all the time, even when full. The wheel can still turn with one finger, so I can’t complain too much.

What I want:

I would like to have one separate alternator and one separate power steering module. I can scrap the extra generator.

What power steering pump will work with this? Is my only consideration the pulley? Will I be stuck engineering a bracket for both?

I apologize if I have asked this question in a long forgotten forum.

Best Wishes
Lonnie
