1953 Dodge Power Wagon $20,000
1953 Dodge Power Wagon, 4000 original miles!

Original bill of sale to Adams County Fire District #2 in Othello, WA.

The Good....

Runs, drives, and stops beautifully.
Original matching seat, headliner, sun visors, and armrest.
Original Floor mat.
Original paint on interior, re-sprayed exterior.
Original wood in the bed, and in good shape.
Windshield regulator works like new.
Original cardboard glovebox is actually intact!
Less than 500 mi on new Michelin XZL radial tires (will swap out to NDT's).
Spare tire with a Michelin XZL tire on it and a reproduction spare tire mount by Dennis Sherman (not installed).
Doors open and close like brand new (think... click!).
New NAPA 8 volt commercial battery, and heavy duty cables.
Original "truckmaster" heater. Gets hot, and the defroster works!
Original ash tray.
Matching date codes on winch and wheels ('52)
Original Vacuum wiper motors.
Hey, it even has the original oil in the differentials! How about that!
The issues....

The bed is original.. It was cut in half lengthwise by the Fire Department to accommodate a water tank, pump, and all their other gear. It was welded back together, but you can tell it was cut.
There are small holes drilled in the dash for the switches that ran the siren, light, and held the radio mike.
The starter is the solenoid type, so there is a push button on the dash instead of the foot pedal type. It will take me about 30 minutes to swap it to a original type if desired. (I like the push button myself!)
I replaced the original rubber oil return line from the oil filter with a steel line.
The truck had a spotlight, radio and antenna, rotating light, and fire axe installed on the cab. I was able to keep the fire axe and it's mounted where it always was. The Fire department kept the other accessories. I patched and filled the holes with steel, then skimmed over them with glazing compound. The headliner has a hole where the spotlight handle came through.
The drivers door window and vent window are cracked. I have replacement pieces for them.
Replaced light switch.
Standard Power Wagon fuel sending unit.. it's off a bit.
The front bumper is not perfect, but in good shape.
The original tailgate was discarded by the Fire Department. I have a replacement.
I have given you a complete and honest description of this Power Wagon, call me with any other inquiries.
