I guess according to the state of Idaho, you can run stove oil if you are an authorized bus company or the National Guard, but you can't run it if you are a logger or farmer (or anyone else) I have included a link to show who can burn it and who can not. This leads me to think that the only difference is the taxes and the dye ( and the ticket).
