I put a bench seat from an early '90s Dodge Dakota in a WDX - it was a huge improvement over the stock seat. If driving comfort is a sin, then this is it. Apparently the concept of lower back support and what fits the human anatomy did not exist at Dodge in the late '40s. Being bigger than a mini truck and smaller than a full size, they fit the FF Power Wagons perfectly. Installed by cutting off the mounting platform on the base of the seat, and attaching to the floor with L brackets bolted to the floor and to the seat frame.
