Ron,
Here is how we are doing power steering on my 58 W200. This might also work on your TW.
I bought a 1990 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup at the junkyard. It has a powersteering gearbox that mounts outside the frame. It is going to bolt up real easy to the outside of the frame of the Power Giant. The steering column on the 90 pickup has a factory splice(joint) in it about 1/2 way down. I am going to use the lower half of the 90 steering column just like it is. I will have a machine shop cut the Powergiant column to the proper lenght and attach the joint assembly to it. Then it will bolt right up to the lower half. That way I can keep the original look inside the cab. We will have to make a minor modification to the steering link to hook it to the Powergiant front linkage, but thats about it. I am using the 318 out of the 90, so it already has the power steering pump and brackets. I wish I could describe this a little better, but maybe I can get some pictures of it as we get the modifications done. It is really going to be a neat and simple conversion.
