steering help?

I have 1951 m37. The steering will turn all the way to the left but not far at all to the right. I took apart the steering box and there is only one way to put it together. I thing that the steering links off of the drop link may be the wrong length. any help I can get from anyone is greatly appreciated. I can also mail some pictures for someone to look at of the steering parts with the lengths of each part. Stressed out over this problem!
