Townwagon tires

We took a set of Goodyear 255/70R16 tires off my son's '01 2500 yesterday because they were a standard load rating. The previous owner had installed them just a month ago and then traded the truck. We are running a snow plow plus a load in the bed therefore needing heavier duty tires. Since these Goodyears are new, I would like to put them on my Townwagon. My question is does anyone see any problems with this arrangement? I am currently running 8.75/16.5 bias M/S and would like to improve ride/ handling. Since I have to buy new rims I want to make sure I don't run into problems before I do this setup. Also does anyone know what it would take to put power steering on my TW? My wife drives the truck and I'm araid if I do put these tires on it will take more effort to turn these wider tires, thoughts? Thanks in advance.
