Make sure the engine is really puked. why would the oil pressure gauge go up? You should be able to find a used 318 fairly cheap. If it must be historicaly correct you'll need to rebuild the trucks origina engine. If that engine in it is the original. My M880 has 69,000 on the clock but it runs like 169,000. I wouldn't worry about the value being much lower with a diffrent engine, Its not a rare truck.I'd put a big block in it with and do the kit for the np205 transfercase. My .02
