I've got a 2.6l Mitsubishi motor in an 86 Plymouth Voyager minivan. It's got either 187000 or 287000 miles on it. Other then recently replacing the head gasket I've had no problems with it except for it being a little hard to start on days when the temperature is below 20 degrees. Plugging in the coolant heater cures that. It's the first vehicle that I've had in along time that I don't have to put oil into from time to time. I've driven it from Anchorage down to Homer and back and it used less than a half a quaurt of oil. Not having to add oil between oil changes is the norm. It has a two barrel carb on it but I don't think it's computor controlled. When it starts up it will run at a high idle until it's warmed up, usually about 5 minutes, then it idles down. For it's age and the mileage on it, it still gets good gas mileage. Robert
