First, for the horns on your vehicle, use an electric solenoid with a button in an easily reachable position. Mine was in the front portion of the middle console. Right where my hand was setting during normal driving.

Next, the train horn. Forget it in a vehicle. I hook my 2 stage 20 gallon compressor to it and it used that air in a snap! When I use my train horn set I first make sure absolutely no one is within 200 yards. I then put on the ear protection used by those who work near jets. NOT JUST ear plugs. They actually will break your ear drums if you are standing next to them during the air flow. Then I hook the 3/8+ (it may be 1/2", not sure) line to my 80 gallon compressor tank at 140 PSI and you can hear that puppy for literally MILES!!!!!

This is only done at Halloween, New Years, or when the Bronco's won both Super Bowls.
