Excuse me but,I believe Chrysler inherited the 258-AMC engine when they bought out AMC and the Jeep division some years back.
Purhaps they did destroke the engine but they surely did not design it from scratch.
It does not have a Chrysler bolt pattern, thats the reason why no one has adapted it to the FF PW, someone will have to make an adapter plate. Plus the intake and exhaust are like most OHV in-line 6's, their on the wrong side to work well in our PWs,
and while you might get away with using the intake on the drivers side, the exhaust would have to be plumbed around or under the eng. to the other side. Unless the head could be successfully reversed ?
