Hey all,

I just bought a 1941 Dodge WC-12.. This truck has the 14" rear brakes and the 11" fronts.

I just ordered a complete set of (4) wheel cylinders.

Unfortunatley, I got all 4 just thrown in plactic bags, with NO markings!

all four cylinders appear to be about the same size..

Howver, two got a different casting "step"
machined in them near the bleeder, so I assume they are a left and right set, either front or rear, but which????

Is there a way to tell which is which, left or right, front or back???? I would assume that the 11" cylinders are smaller diameter?? I cant see a difference though between the four. Any way to tell quickly which are the front, which are the rear?

Also, which way are they positioned? Does it matter which way.. There is supposed to be a designated left and a right.. They look identical.. Why would it matter which one goes on the left and which one the right?

Confused... !!!!
