Had one, bought with cracked head (thought head gasket), repaired it (had to send to Montreal to get it welded), lasted about a year same thing. Great power and fuel economy. If it had a cast iron head I would probably still have it. I believe alternator and pump combined, think it was an expensive fix and difficult to find used. I think I can best sum this up as " when a man with money meets a man with experience, the man with the money gets the experience and the man with the experience gets the money" My first diesel.
