Thinking about aux. heater

I was wondering about putting an aux heater in the rear seat area of my Townwagon and would like to know if anyone has any ideas as to what will work? The stock heater works but with all the cab to heat in a TW it takes a while to make a differance in the back. I was thinking of a small self contained unit that can be mounted on the floor. And as far as the plumbing goes would I tee into heater lines with a separate water control? Thanks for any ideas. Ron in cold Indiana.
