I've got the 14 volt snap-on .5 inch cordless
impact gun and I use it every day in place of the air powered unit. It has about 75% of the power you would get from the air gun and the battery generally will last all day. It is also not as rough on your hands, and does not get cold from the air discharge (naturally).
$300.00 seems like a fair price.I paid $500.00 for the snap-on with two batteries and the charger. I've got the 12v 3/8 drive and I love that one too.
