More respect in a PW than anything else

I get more respect in my 52ff PW than when I drive anything else. I live in a real yuppie area with lots of expensive cars around. I may be slow and ugly but no one ever gives me a bad time. If I drive that same speed in any of my other cars (except the carryall) I always get the horn, an unsafe pass or a single finger salute. Somehow that never happens in the PW. I will get a vertical single digit salute in all vehicles except in the PW or Carryall it is with the thumb and with the middle finger in any other vehicle. I have had nothing but thumbs up in my PW and Carryall.

Yesterday, going to work, traffic was backed up due to an accident. Someone decided to escape the freeway at my work exit. I was in a long back at the exit up near the front of it. A mustang came from the left lane of the freeway all the way into the exit. He came right up beside me and tried to force me off the road so he could get in. He never tried to get in front of or behind me he wanted to force me off the road. He got within 6 inches and was still comming. Finally he gave up when he realized he was not going to win by forcing me off the road. By the way I was in a 99 F350 and he was a mustang. Not sure what he was trying to do. One thing I know it never would have happened in one of my PWs
