It is a flattened cylinder, rather like a padlock with no semi-circular clip. It pushes onto the pin and clips into place, then removes with the Hxxx key that fits early ignition switch. Almost impossible to get at a reasonable price. It looks very similar to the jeep one too. I have seen a pile of late-WW2 spare wheel mounts that had flat-ended pins (without the groove)too. Gordon
