Zentmeyer's "Interchanges" addresses this swap. You need 3 gaskets to space the center of the spider gears out to be centered with the axle axis. You'll need different axles to match the Lockrights, which are 1.375"/16 spline. the 1/2 tons are 1.3125"/16 spline. Everything is addressed in the booklet, available from Portrayal Press.
