Thanks again Alan & Henry. Like I said, this carb is a strange one. Not sure if its a side draft, or a downdraft with a side intake. Anyway, the main jet is clear. There is another jet in the cylinder that holds the plunger, but it has some kind of a plug in it. At first I thought it was a check ball that was someplace it wasn't supposed to be, but its stuck there. Its like a common pin thats stuck down into the jet, with the head sticking up. I thought about bad gas - it was sitting there for 5 months, but it does not fire at all - doesn't even catch. There's not much movement on the choke. The throttle valve is all the way closed. Opens a little when I push the gas pedal. I'll take the carb apart - let you know next weekend what happened. P.S. If you have Don Bunn's book, my truck is on page 30.
