I bought my '65 M-37 from the guy in Denver. When I bought my rig (in '93) he was in the middle of the frame fabrication. The axle set-up was quite unique. The front/rear differential was off-set like a normal rear diff. would be. The driveshaft hooked up to the normal rear out-put yoke. The rear/rear diff. was off-set to the driver's side. The driveshaft came off of a yoke that came form the center of the vehicle (left side of the transfer case), and went to a bearing mounted in the frame above the front/rear axle. From there it went down to the diff. He was also in the process of fabricating a long bed from two M-37 beds. It didn't really look all that difficult. I haven't seen the rig since it was finished. But what a rig it must be! The guys name was Brian Sage. I could get you a phone number if you were interested.
