I've had a bunch of 'em apart over the years for repair, and the trucks had a slightly different model from early to late (B1). None of them are "fully" synchronized, and all of them were synchronized in 3 and 4 only. Then only real difference is in the reverse gear and top shifting mechanism. The easiest way to spot a real M37 box is the PTO holes on both sides, and the stubby shifter shaft. The Canadian rigs had a totally different transmission, BTW. DG.
