My parts manual calls for 150 feet of 7/16 wire
rope. (It is not called cable, that is for very
small wire rope, I read somewhere) With a 4 foot chain and slip hook. I use fiber core rope as it is MUCH more flexible than wire core. And this is rated at more than I will ever pull. It is 84 cents a foot.
