help with chains-tailgate

I am restoring a 1950 Power Wagon. It was a wrecker in
its prior life and did not have a tailgate or related
parts. The parts sources I have contacted, including
Vintage Power Wagons, don't have chains for pre 1951
Power Wagons. Does anyone have a source for these? If
not, any idea how long the chains are? Where I can
purchase the hooks, chain etc. Any help would be
appreciated.
