I'm looking at buying a PW and have a question. Are the late '40's PW's any more desirable than the 50's and 60's models? The reason I ask is because
I've found one in a nearby small town than is a '46. I'ts been sitting behind the town's post office for years (collector's plates)and I'm told it's driven every year in parades.
The paint is faded(green), the cab has a big dent on top and the inside cardboard is hanging from the ceiling but it's all there and looks pretty complete.Haven't heard it run yet.
I really like the lines of this truck but do the "newer" models have any advantages over these older veterans? The guy is asking $5000 and there is no winch.Appreciate the help.
