7. 3 liter is a Navistar engine came out in 1995,full electronic HUEEfuel injection,proven system lots of them out there!
The same fuel system is used in the Navistar E444 6 cylinder inline truck engine. Ford doesn,t build automotive diesels anymore!
The Ford E40d automatic came out @1988 and had its initial teething problems 1993 models or newer have extensive upgrades and are beefed up in weeker areas mostly converter/lock up mods. The Dodge automatic doesn,t stand up at all,ask owners! Go standard if you go Dodge
