More than likely it was because he has the best truck of the show in the category in which he registered. When trophies are given out, normally there will NOT be an award unless at least three of any type are registered or present. The trophies are then made for the categories that have pre-registered. If there are not enough vehicles pre-registered in each class, then classes may be lumped together. They normally do not cast trophies until they KNOW who is coming to compete. It is pretty cold to say he won because he was the only one who showed up. He won because he has an excellent truck.
