Honestly fellas, I have yet to be %100 happy with anything I have bought off the internet, e-bay or the forum.
I can think of only a handfull of people who havent stuck it to me over the years. I am at the point now where I just expect to get junk, which is also why I only buy stuff from people I know personally. I can see right now that this whole thing is getting way out of control.
I dont mind paying market value or even a little more for a truck or part that is honestly and fully described by it's seller. Unfortunatly, nobody sends you the "bad" pictures. And if you dont ask the right questions... Tough S#%t! I guess you (seller)live with yourself behind that "Buyer Beware" statement and all that B.S., maby it makes you feel O.K. about it.
Heres a tip for potential buyers... Look at a truck or part on the net. Sleep on it and next day write down every question you can think of. When you talk to the seller and if he seems a little ambiguous answering your questions... Leave it. Theres lots more of these trucks/ parts out there and the good guys are selling them.
I have sold a few trucks and parts over the internet and I always ask if the buyer was happy with the truck. If not, what can I do to make it right.
Heres a tip for all you would be dealers... When you screw grandma out of her '46 WDX that belogned to Grandpa, (but he never drove it because all the shrapnell he received in Anzio, that is still in his right knee acts up from all the bouncing around) for $500, at least drive it and change the oils, fluids, check for leaks, etc... before you stick someone with it for $8000 and "Well, they told me it ran when they parked it, but I never got a chance to put a battery in it. Sorry but I sold it where is as is because it's so old". It's probably the last truck you will sell around here. At least send Grandpas silver star that was in the glove box back to grandma instead of another item for ebay!
(O.K., the Anzio thing was a little over the top but you get what I'm saying, Keep it fun guys!.)
If you can make a living selling off your misrepresented junk on the net for outrageous prices, and live with yourself... good for you. I cant wait untill we meet in person one day. I could expound on my last statement a bit, but I'll just leave it at that.

Why dont we change the "rules" around a bit... How about if we agree on a price, you send me the part. If it is as you have described it, I'll send you the money. If not I'll send it back, and you can pimp it off to the next in line.
I dont think too many sellers would like that too much, but in reality it's what you are doing to me when I send you my $ in the mail before you send me the part.
Sorry for the rant but I'm two steps from being out the door on this whole lot.
