Yep, I agree with you guys 100%. I always try to offer on Forum first, but 99% of the time Ebay is quicker, more fair for both seller & buyer & Ebay enables us to find things we're looking for that ordinarily we just wouldn't ever be able to find.
95% of personal off Ebay dealings have fallen through. Of all my dealings on Ebay, only one has fallen through. You're not likely to find anything on Ebay for 10% of it's value, but if you need something, are willing to pay market value for it, Ebay's where you'll find it. If you ask the right questions of the seller, you'll never get burned...at least I never have.
