I'm going to have to admit something here... Okay, here goes... I should have listened to Judd originally. There, I've said it out loud. A few years ago I wanted the Civilian flat fender so bad I could taste it!! (...tasted like 90wt...) Judd tried to tell me about the prices/availability/part access of the M-37s over the Civilian Power Wagons. But noooooooooo, I wanted a Flat Fender Civilian jobby. So I got it. AND LOVED IT mind you. Nothing wrong with it. I have my M-37 now, and although mine isn't running currently, I've seen these things in action, and rode in a few, now at several rallies. I have to admit, I should have bought an M-37 originally, got it to where I wanted it and enjoyed it all this time. Now, as soon as I get mine running, with either a 230 or V-8 conversion (if Brad Z. has his way!) and the Gama-goat tires on it, with a power steering kit (as suggested by Don Sawyer), I think it'll do everything I ask of it. From looking/talking/driving over the last year-and-a-half, the wheel base of the M-37 is shorter, better articulation, suspension, the steering's better (tighter, better radius) if I had a winch on the front of mine, I'd be in hog heaven (commonly refered to as Judd's house)! Both are slow lumbering trucks (no pun there about lumbering/logging) and although I still love the look of the Civilian trucks over the squarish M-series trucks, for what you're looking for, I have to agree with the folks that have suggested the M-37 for you.

My $2.83 worth ('cause I took up more space than $.02 worth)
