...In the opening pages of Norman Maclean's book, 'Young Men and Fire', there's an autobiographical passage describing the author's experience in August 1949 which reads, "He and I borrowed a Dodge Power Wagon from the Oxbow Ranch, because we knew it would be tough going ahead."
There is no further mention of the truck, but what more needs to be said??!!
