I'm always opposed to the idea of making everyones personal info available to the whole world. This forum has always been simple with a reasonable degree of anonymity if we want it,for whatever reason.
I know many suggestions are with good intentions but maybe if you or others want to list your data it could be just on a voluntary basis. Personally I wouldn't want just any and everyone knowing what I have or live making it possible for selective thieves
to case a PW owner that lives isolated or in a convenient place to steal PWs or parts. Considering the price of beds or hard to find PW parts and the lackness at which we allow cab to frame swaps without demanding a stricter adherence to keeping frame and cab #'s matching. This is a point that scares me as agressive thieves could easily buy cheap beater parts trucks using the frames and doorpost vin tags to easily convert stolen trucks into almost non-tracable high dollar PWs at a fraction of the cost the owners spent or just what parts alone could bring makes PWs a easier target and more profiable than cars which are usually kept better secured than most PWs. Just my thoughts on database type info being available to just anyone. Plus I like the simplier way things are now.
