Well, even though I KNOW I should not open up my BIG mouth, here we go! In WI I have to sell more then 5 trucks/cars/etc a year before I need a dealers license, and I sold a total of three last year(one to the other guys insurance company after a woman totaled my car).
The year before that I sold 1, and I expect to sell a couple here in the next few months. I sell mostly parts I buy out of junkyards(or off trucks I buy and strip), not whole trucks, so I may not excede 5 trucks this year either.
I just dragged TWO titleless trucks back from MN, I crossed state lines and everything!
On sunday I am going to list one of them on E-bay, no title. If I do sell it, guess what? There will be no title with it, and no one would expect one, it will just be a shell for parts. No axles, no motor, nothing but the tub, frame, and front doors.
The other truck is going to a guy who needs the roof, once I finish parting it. He does not care about titles.
The rest of that truck, and maybe the other one will go to the scrapyard, and I will not be asked for titles!
I am sure I have broken half a dozen laws by your count, but as these trucks will be beyond the classifcation of "truck" in about 2 days(way to much gone to consider them more then piles of metal), I am not worried about it.
Have fun on your little Huntin' ranch, and I will stay happy and out of Jail up here in the city.
