If things didn't change much with the centered yoke and offset, I wouldn't expect it to do much better without the offset, unless your U-joints are worn or the bearings on the output of the tranfer are loose. A big part of the problem may be the drive shaft. I found that even NOS parts allowed the U-joints to slop end to end a bit, so that it could not be balanced well. I'll still say that with it centered, it's basicially the same as a NP201 setup in a W300, and they are pretty quiet. Rob
