Hiya...Jeep J-10's from the 70's (as well as wagonneers and cherokees) used a double cardan joint right behind the Quadrada-trac unit and a single u-joint of the same size on the pinion.I had the pleasure of changing a few of the $%%#%^ things. Apparently you can double joint one end but not two. The other suggestion of the joint in the middle won't work without a carrier bearing. Without that, your driveshaft will work like nunchucks and beat your truck into unconsciousness. Oh! Hi, Fred...Long time no see
