Hi Steve, The front axle should be a spicer 44F The 69-71 dodge trucks all used a mechanical clutch linkage and a three point engine/trans mounting...in other words the engine has two motor mounts to frame and the third mount is on the output shaft housing of the transmission. Prior to 1969, they used a four way mounting, with two mounts on the motor and two mounts on the bell housing and the trans hung off the bell housing. These were all equipped with the 'juice' or hydraulic clutch. The 'high speed' PTO is an unusual item and runs off the input gear in the transmission. The truck is most likely a 8500 lb. GVW The LU-2 winch is rated at 8000 lbs on first layer of rope. The PTO for the winch allows you to select gear speeds in the trans to operate the winch. (Transfer case in neutral) Thus your winch has one speed out {reverse in trans} and four speeds in {1-4 in trans} The HS PTO is governed by engine speed only with trans in neutral. You can get some parts direct from your local Dodge dealer (He can search his system) or check the links page on this site for other good vendors. Parts for these are fairly easy to come by except for brake drums as the production numbers were less than previous years! Good luck!!!
