Jonas, I am think of trying that also. I do have a centered axle housing ready to swap out. In 1949 Dodge Made a Route Van. The engine was offset way to the right. In the pictures, it looks like the output yoke is about the same spot as it is on a NP-200.

So basically, this is just a swap around, driving from the center and running to the offset differential.

Dodge designed it for Route Van service with a lot of daily miles. The same idea, reversed, should work for us also. But this will not cut down on T Case Heat and noise as your still driving off the outside yoke.

So when are you going to do it and give us a report ?
