you will see that 11.00x16 XL's have only one
rim listed 6.50x16 (9.00x16 uses same)
when selecting tires go to the manufacturers site and get the CORRECT information
just because someone can get some tire to fit on a rim does not make it a correct or safe
application
need to get the correct michelin tube and flap when using michelin tires

the tire shop is probably covering their back side by only putting on tires that they show fit the rim correctly (they might not have the michelin data at hand ask them to check)
