I had an M-37 with the 230 six & 11X16 michelins. It maxed out at 10-12 MPG. with the 9X16 it was 12 MPG. I had a 63 Imperial with a 413 and 4v, It got about 10-12 MPG. My '66 W200 gets about 10-12 MPG. I had a 70 Scout with a 304 and auto. It got 15-18 MPG. I had a 76 Scout with a 304 and auto that got about 16 MPG. I put in a 440 and it dropped to about 10-12 MPG. I think it is the magic number for mopars.
