I know a couple of people that have Durangos & Dakotas w/v-8's & they all tell me that the trucks get between 8 & 11 mpg!
I wonder how that could be possible with all the cafe standards in place , not too mention that those same people (6 total) all tell me that they would never own another one.
considering technology, I dont understand how my M-886 can get 12-15 a gallon(depends on if the 3/4t m-101 is attached or not)
on the highway averaging 70mph with full-time 4wheel drive, a simple 318 2 barrel, 727 auto trans & 4.10 gears, makes me want to go out & buy a new disposable truck!
I guess for now , I'll stick with my 4cylinder cars when gas is a $1.57 a gallon
& get 400 miles a tankful, & keep the Dodge for hauling & off road fun(it's paid for)
