There is an argument here! You are not correct in saying that "it's so far superior that they cannot be compared". You have been swayed by the Internet hype. There are a lot of complaints with the Allison as well. And I sure don't think that running down the road with a 3500 loaded to 31,000 lbs is using one as a car. In addition, the ctd is a very popular combination with hot-shotters (as are the others). But any truck that was that far behind the pack would be an outcast and would not be considered for that industry. I think that you are off base in your claims and I am speaking both from experience and a great deal of research. You can call me an uneducated fool, or accuse me for not doing my research (I quit caring what people called me a long time ago). Either way, I know that the Dodge trucks are worth their purchase prices (or are as close as the rest of the pack).
