I needed a trailer for hauling around some business stuff behind the Townie.

When I bought the enclosed 10ft dual axel trailer, I THOUGHT I had all of the bases covered. By asking, I found out that electric brakes were optional. I caught this and specified that I wanted the optional brake package.

A few weeks after receiving the trailer, I noticed that the trailer was pulling to one side when I came down a hill. I checked underneath the trailer and found out that they only put electric brakes on ONE wheel. I ASSUMED that all four wheels would have brakes. I called the trailer company. "Thats right" they said. Standard brake option calls for only one wheel to have brakes unless specified. Needless to say, they had an unhappy customer on their hands.

The rule is "Assume Nothing" when you are writing up the order on a trailer. If I had to do it again, I would take pictures of the trailer I wanted and stapled them to the sales order with written notes.
Best Wishes
Lonnie
