I own two 46s dwight has one 46 one 49 and I have a buddy in Kansas that had two 46 and I am about to get a 48 and all trucks had the standard cab for a Power wagon with the two inch strip where the floor had been welded in no indent in the firewall flat and smooth center section in center of dash not the ribbed like my wc-12 hope this helps sounds like a previous owner modification to me.
