Quit tapping it with your new Budd lug wrench. Seriously, a small piece of rust of old glass in the window channel can cause the window glass to develop a crack, so check the channel completely before installing a new piece. Alternate heating and cooling the screws can often get them to come loose without having to drill and re-tap. Good luck.
