To bid on ebay you DO NOT have to provide a CC unless you are using a hotmail...yahoo email address....for whatever reason they feel those type emails are prone to be hackable so they want to verify you before they will let you register.... If there is a misprint in any of your info this will cause you to have trouble registering.
