The window tracks & front frames rust because they were never coated properly. I have two nos side window tracks here & they weren't even primed...just sprayed with black laquer & barely any laquer in the slot where the glass goes I might add.
If you glass bead your tracks & windshield frame & epoxy prime & paint,(or even better yet, have them powder coated), paying special attention to getting paint in the glass channel, they will never rust again in your lifetime. This is not just how Dodge windows are installed...this is how all windows were installed up into the 70's.
