I use black panel mounting sealant to set all the glass in.
Windscreen sealeant stays flexible and is not much use, the panel mounting stuff sets off, and can be used to 'glue' frameless side glass into the bottom runners, where using the original rubber strip would just jack the channel sides apart. I have to reapir pretty much all my lower windscreen channels and although I try to get them straight and square I find the ability to coat the channel with sealant and then just stick the glass in and wipe it round very valuable.
I woun't bother with the trade name as I'm in Scotland, so you wont get it sold as that in the US.
